Vonage To Launch Work Around
Apparently unwilling to place all of its eggs in the patent appeal basket, Vonage has announced that it will shortly be launching a work around to avoid infringement of two patents owned by Verizon. (U.S. Patent Nos. 6,104,711 and 6,282,574). Vonage is still working on a work around for the Verizon's wireles patent (U.S. Patent No. 6,359,880). Thus, Vonage may still survive even if Verizon's verdict is sustained on appeal.
