Should The Courts Redistribute Wealth?
This morning I heard a number of interviews that Senator Obama gave back in 2001. In the interviews Obama suggests that the Constitution is fundamentally flawed. He also criticized the Warren Court (known as the most liberal era of the Supreme Court) because it did not "break free" of the limitations placed on the Court by our founding fathers. (I thought that was the point of the Constitution).
In the interviews Obama argued for the redistribution of wealth. Is that really what this country stands for? Do we want economic equality or economic opportunity?
As the saying goes, "Capitalism is a great system for making people unequally rich, socialism is a great system for making everying equally poor."

Rand,
I'd like to see you do a post on the new ruling on business method patents. I'm always interested in an informed opinion.
