For the last year and a half Bateman IP Law Group has been running THECOMPETITIVEINSIGHT.com where we publish the patents, patent applications, trademark registrations and trademark applications that have been published each week for Utah companies and inventors. 

Since we had the data handy, we decided it was about time to show some love to the creative people who are helping to keep Utah's economy moving.  Utah Pulse has agreed to partner with us to promote the event.  Thus, Utah Genius is born.

Utah Genius an annual awards program where we will recognize:

Utah's Top 20 Inventors;
Utah's Top 5 Cities By Number of Patents;
Utah's Top 5 Cities by Patents Per Capita;
Utah's Top 20 Trademark Registrants; and
One Lifetime Achievement Award for someone who has made a substantial impact on Utah's economy by their creativity.
